North Alabama Local Lead-Gen Site Portfolio
A portfolio of search-driven lead-gen and affiliate sites for high-ticket local services in North Alabama, built on a versioned playbook that gates every page on facts competitors don't publish.
The problem
Buyers of big-ticket home services in Huntsville find dealer sites that repeat the same generic facts. The answers they need, like whether a residential gas meter can feed a 22–26kW generator or how long Redstone badging takes, sit with utilities, permit offices, and agencies, and nobody has put them on a page. I build sites that go get those facts, publish them first, and send the resulting leads to local operators.
What I built
- Standby generators, Huntsville and North Alabama: rocketcitygenerators.com
- Concrete coating and polishing: rocketcitycoating.com
- Fencing: rocketcityfence.co
- CMMC compliance dashboard: cmmcdashboard.org
- Lawn care guides: lawncareguides.com
- AI lawn care tool: turftracker.app
- Independent water filter reviews: h2oinsider.com
- Local Domination Playbook v4.1, a numbered build standard covering voice rules, an AI-tell scrub, semantic SEO (entity worksheets, cluster maps, connected JSON-LD graphs), visual semantics, rollout and link architecture, and an information-gain publishing gate
- BUILD-PROMPT-PREAMBLE, one paste block with fill slots, a prerequisites gate, and a final audit checklist for every Claude Code build
- SERP gap audit prompt that pulls the top 10 results through DataForSEO and sorts every checkable claim into commodity, contested, and gap tables, with a "sourceable by" research column
- Local Rank Grid WordPress plugin, checkpoint 1 (scaffold, two database tables, admin UI, PHP data-provider interface with a mock provider)
How I built it
- Every page has to clear an information-gain gate: it publishes at least one fact the competing pages do not have
- Five-stage planning loop before any build, including a homepage gauntlet scored by five judge personas
- Checkpoint-gated, mock-first Claude Code builds: plan, approve, execute, commit per step

What is next
Filling the Rocket City Generators gain register (utility meter capacity and three permitting-jurisdiction calls); publishing the redstonejobs.com gap content (clearance timeline discrepancies, gate hours, badging time); running the first two build prompts on cmmcdashboard.org to start its index clock; and building Scout, a Python market-screening CLI, with radon mitigation as the first test vertical.
